According to the 2008 Green Building Survey conducted by National Real Estate Investor, sustainability provides owners protection against declining property values and rising energy cost. The survey was conducted across corporate and developer respondents. The results show the following top benefits of green design. Lower energy cost was rated the highest benefit.
